We know athletes train for different reasons. That's why our curriculum takes two paths: Rec and Comp. Both tracks practice the exact same unified MMA techniques every week, but the coaching lens changes to match your motivation. Because they follow the same Fight Card Passport, athletes can easily move back and forth as desired.
Built for the lifestyle martial artist. The Rec track focuses on technical fluency, smooth combination flow, injury prevention, and personal fitness. You learn real combat mechanics without the mandate of high-velocity tactical pressure.
Built for fight preparation and high-level pressure testing. The Comp track takes the exact same weekly curriculum and applies uncooperative resistance, focusing on ring control optics, judge scoring tactics, and championship-round conditioning.
We approach mixed martial arts with objective sports science. Athletes track their progression through the curriculum using their Fight Card Passport, a performance-based assessment system that measures real, observable competency across 8 distinct positional libraries.
The universal entry point focusing on basic safety, stance, distance control, and foundational mechanics at safe, cooperative speeds so they're ready to jump into class without feeling lost from day 1.
The intermediate stage where athletes split into parallel tracks. The Competitive track introduces uncooperative pressure and scoring tactics. Here, athletes develop the 80% that forms the core of the current MMA game.
The advanced capstone featuring systemic flows, complex transitions, and graduation-level tactical problem solving. Here, athletes continue to polish and perfect the 80%, explore the 20% outlier techniques and scenarios, and personalize their game.
If you only train on your good days, consistency will plummet. The Fuel Tank Model ensures consistent, safe practice without ego, forced exhaustion, or fear of getting overwhelmed. Every class, you select an ankle band that signals your energy level to your coaches and training partners. Your chosen pace isn't a measure of your ability; it's a measure of your reality today, so you can stay safe, and your training can stay on track.
For days when you are managing fatigue, soreness, or recovering from a tough week. Focuses on technical mechanics, positional flow, and zero heavy impact.
For typical daily energy levels. Focuses on controlled combinations, ~80% active resistance, and steady athletic development.
For days when you feel 100% and want a maximum physical push. Focuses on high-velocity situational rounds, dynamic resistance, and live challenge.
